5:30 pm Eyelash & Eyebrow Tinting
Students will learn how to semi permanently curl the lashes using the latest techniques which is called a “lash lift”. Then students will learn to use professional tint to change and enhance the colour and look of eyelashes and eyebrows. Tinting is used for those who wish to not wear makeup and will make lashes look more visible & plump. Students may attend the lift portion or the tint portion of the workshop or both. This program teaches students salon sanitation, nail structure, fingernail disease/disorders, client consultation and basic as well as spa manicure procedures. Duration: 6 classes or approx. 22 hours (includes written and practical exam) Cost includes manicure kit, textbook, uniform shirt and all classes. Students will learn about the different types of lashes, products and history of permanent & semi-permanent lashes. In addition, students will learn how and will apply natural-looking individual eyelashes on a model. They will also learn how to care for permanent lash application. Students will also learn how to remove and fill lash extensions. Duration: 3 classes or approx. 12 hours. Location Instructor |

5:30 pm Waxing
This course teaches the fundamentals of waxing to remove unwanted hair. Students learn theory of hair growth, the theory of all hair removal methods along with their advantages and disadvantages. Students also learn client care including consultation, proper draping and contra-indications of waxing. Students learn the benefits of block/hard wax and will perform facial waxing with hard & soft wax. Each week includes hands on practical sessions in waxing all body areas. Students will receive an Introduction to Waxing certificate upon successful completion.
